The ArtQuest MORP(h) BALL 

ArtQuest held its first annual Morph Ball on Thursday Feb. 28th. Wow! It was years in the talking about and months in planning but it finally happened. This costume event that takes a backwards look at a PROM but it "changes" it, was hugely successful and entertaining. 

There were prizes for costumes. There were "performance" competitions by the specialty areas for the best use of the theme (Where the Wild Things Are). The prize was the Morp(h) "Ball" which will be held for the year by the winning specialty. There were refreshments, music and ... oh yeah,... DANCING!

  The Photography Classes won the Morph Ball trophy for best "performance" with their crowd rousing and interactive presentation and a slide show of the "hand" with a musical accompaniment. Visual Fine Arts placed second with their amazingly beautiful and "organic looking" primeval installation. And the combined Vocal and Instrumental Music students placed third.
